62. My heart goes out to Britney! Why aren't all of K Fed's "activities" shown all over the media? I feel strongly that Brritney is suffering from post partum depression, along with suffering from bi-polar issues. She had two children very close together & if rumors are correct, a husband that was not faithful to her & put his partying at the top of his list. Unfaithfulness is very difficult to deal with for the everyday woman...CAN YOU IMAGINE TRYING TO DEAL WITH THE EMBARRASSMENT OF IT WHEN YOU'RE A CELEBRITY? I would love to be a mother/grandmother to this young lady! She needs love & positive reinforcement, thus helping her to regain respect & love for herself. I have a son that is a manic depressive, bi-polar (rapid recycler) and it's very sad & full of heartaches. One of the very biggest problems for these people is staying on their medicine. Psychotic drugs aren't the most enjoyable drugs to take. They get to feeling pretty good & tell themselves that they can "handle life without it"...then they pick up speed on that roller coaster ride down. I'd like to see her somewhere 'PRIVATE" for a complete rest with medication & psychiatrick treatment. Let her get some of her strength & love of self back.......then if there are other issues to deal with she should be able to take that road in a better frame of mind. God Bless You Britney! 63. Again, most comments here show the inexperience with a biplar patient. While you don't "just become" bipolar, its quite common for symptoms to start to become apparent in the 20's. And the medication is not like taking an aspirin and the pain goes away. There are many medications and what works for one will not work for another. Plus the fact that they must be taken religiously for at least a month, without fail, to see any changes in the brain's chemistry. The patient cannot go on and off of them, in fact, if they do, they will cause even more erratic behavior.

I'm telling you, again, unless you've experienced, refrain from commenting. I've seen it first hand. I know what its like to be angry and think the patient is just being obnoxious, selfish, idiotic, however you want to term it. Once I was educated however, I found that the decisions made by someone who suffers this way can sometimes confuse them as much as anyone else and they need help...before its too late.

I cannot believe the anger and hatred that you display. Why don't you try to have some compassion and understanding of others? Bipolar disease is a very serious disease, and there is no cure. 67. This is so pathetic. Bi-polar is not diagnosed by the media and certainly not by people like you. It's not a "come and go" illness and she AIN'T bi-polar. This is just another convenient and self-serving attempt by her spin-doctors to illicit sympathy for a dangerously out of control narcissitic spoiled red-neck. With all the media attention on her, when did she go to the doctor... what doctors came to her house. You'd think with all the attention her friggin trips to the 7-Eleven generate, the media would know the exact times and locations of any medical evaluations that have supposedly taken place. Let me assure you... any self respecting or ACCREDITED mental health official would NOT be going to her house or any other location other than their office to diagnose such a serious condition. Do you people not have any sense of reality yourselves???? Can you not use common sense or logic to figure this out???? She invites this attention with every breath she takes... every move she makes. 68. Normally I don't feel sorry for celebs who are hounded by the press (paparazzi), but I do Britney. They ought to have a little compassion for Britney only because she's on such a steep downward spiral. They can all see this, but instead of giving her peace to heal they all behave like vultures circling a corpse -- creepy.

69. Sherri, your just as phyco as Brit is. She chose K-fed and ASKED K-fed to marry her!!!! She also took it upon herself to just take what wasn't hers because she thinks cause she was popular she could just take someones man. Life is what you make it. Mistakes or not. Out of all the nice guys to chose from she chose one that was taken WITH a baby on the way!! That is plain selfish and egotistical and down right mean. Don't give us that crap that it was ok. By the way people Britney's mom has tried to help her and so has her dad. She blew them off like everything is there fault. I come from a family where my dad abused us, But, I understand my dad was sick. I got couseling and therapy and learned how to forgive him. To this day what he did to me I am a troubled person. God has helped me to become a new person. It is a battle everyday. I dont go to paps or blame my mom anymore because she did the best she could. Brit is 26 now and a big girl. Her mom is not to blame anymore. Brit wanted to be a singer and a star and her mom just helped her dream come true. Now, she's grown up and her mom is still getting blamed. NOONE twisted Brit's arm or forced her to do anything. All these choices were on her own. spare us of the whinning and crying of some of you people on here. Make a intelligent statement. Her dad finally just threw his hands up! You can't force your kids to make the right decisions. It's time for Brit to take a long Hiatus!!!!!!! If that means family dragging her young butt kicking and screaming then so be it!!!!!!!!! Grow-up people and get the shields off your eyes. We don't know what is real or what is staged. Who cares. The drugs don't help her...I am bi-polar and you can't drink or smoke pot or anything...caffiene is bad...she needs to can everyone around her including DR. 71. 46. Britney is white trash and always will be. I'm sorry she supposedly is bi-polar, but if she doesn't take her meds it's her own fault. Now we have to be subjected to all her stupidity. If you know you have a problem, you should have the ability to control yourself. I have an anger management problem that I can control without meds. I also kicked a crack habit without help. Britney is nothing special. She only gets this attention because she acts so irresponsibly. Why can't she just be respectable and a good role model?

First off, a crack addiction and bi-polar disease are two totally seperate things. You caused the crack addiction, she didn't choose to be bi-polar. You need some help with the anger,( which is probably caused from the crack addiction) as your post seems very angry. Nobody forces you to read Britney's stories. You choose to read them. If your watching an entertainment show, expect to see her on there. That is stuff they report on. They aren't going to report on actors visiting our troops or what they think would help the economy or medical issues. And they shouldn't because no one cares. But they obviously have a market, otherwise they wouldn't be doing it.

72. Britney is a grown woman and should be held accountable for her own choices, good or bad. I think it is sad that people are blaming her parents for the way that she is turning out. They have done their job raising her and she has been making her own decisions for some time now, not her parents. They as parents have a right to put their two cents in on her behavior but ultimately she makes the final choice between right and wrong. She was the one who wanted to be “young” mother and she created two lives that depend on her to raise them and teach them between right and wrong. Once she became a mother she should have put her children first but she chose not to. I believe that she is very selfish and doing unrepairable damage to her two young boys. I cannot imagine what it’s like to have people hounding me day and night, taking pictures, always in my face. But she chose to be a pop star and she continues to place herself into the limelight. There are numerous stars that are very successful but are not always placing themselves in a situation where there are lots of cameras.

First of all, STOP BLAMING THE PARENTS...Britney is just spoiled kid without responsibilities which shows the way she has handled her children, her ex-husband,friends and family. She is old enough to understand what is good and bad....even if the parents were the worst in the world, she is old enough to become a better human being......There is no excuse for her acting the way she does..It is obvious she likes the attention that we all give her, there are more important situations in the world to be worrying about Britney.....She had great talent, Now she is handling her life the way she wants to NOW LETS MOVE ON.............................................

74. I suffer from Bipolar, and it's horrible. Hospitalization in a secured facility is mandatory in such a severe case. Once the staff in the facility feels that they have stabilized her condition and CAN TRUST her to continue on the medication regime that they have decided is best, then and only then, should she be released under psychiatric care and group therapy.
